JAN VALENTIN SAETHER

Jan Valentin Saether studied sculpture with the legendary professor Per Palle Storm in the late 60s/early 70s at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo, Norway. Even though he works mainly as a painter, the three-dimensional form was very important to him in the late 70s/early 80s when he ran the Venice Painting and Sculpture Studio on the corner of Main and Rose in Venice, CA.
